We got our first snow!
First snow flakes some areas got on Oct 21st, but on October 28th we got snowed in! 
Schools were closed.
Some areas got over 2 feet of snow.

It was an interesting experience driving down the mountain that day.
While leaving the area, where there was snow all around, you can see a change of season! 
Down the mountain, going towards the highway 87 beautiful views of the fall...  On the mountain - pure winter!

Unfortunately many trees were damaged.  A lot of them still had leaves and the first snow is heavy.
Many homes lost their electricity.  Phone lines were damaged as well.
